Panpsychic Unity and Atomic Theory of Consciousness
from the common psychic elements present in animals of the same race. No one teaches a duckling to swim, a cat how to fall, a turtle where to lay eggs, etc. These are instincts that navigate in the unconscious of the species, sometimes called "group soul", psycho-physical dynamisms given a priori by the simple belonging of the individual to the species. The influence of the collective unconscious on the individual is penetrating and pervasive, pushing them to replicate the common model of which all are an expression.
The Panpsychic of the Cosmos
The Universe is made of Thought, fed continuously by a flow of energy that evidently is the result of the creative activity of an extracosmic consciousness that is its uncaused Cause. With the term Universe, therefore, all those realities brought into being in the circumscribed adynamic fluid, dynamized by divine creative activity and that are causally linked to each other are identified. A bond always present through the Panpsychic Unity of the Cosmos.
The Panpsychic Unity of the Cosmos presupposes a non-local panpsychism for which there exists a panpsychic connection between different realities of the cosmos whose intensity is independent of three-dimensional physical distance. It implies a psychic geometry that is non-three-dimensional and non-Euclidean. Indeed, a simple reflection allows us to understand that physical distance is not equivalent to psychic distance. Moreover, if physically not all points or realities of the Cosmos are reachable, from a psychic point of view we can suppose all created realities belonging to the Cosmos are psychically contactable, at least in principle.
An astronomer observes a distant Galaxy, studies its physical evolution, forms in their mind and psyche a model of its functioning and necessarily establishes a psychic bond with it. The Galaxy, its shape, its classification, its colors, its rotation speed, all this information contributes to forming in the astronomer's mind an increasingly clear image of the Galaxy and making it enter their psychic environment. Concentration, reflection, intense meditation on the star and celestial body establishes a flow of consciousness and therefore a panpsychic bond between the two realities.
Atomic Theory of the Psyche
The individual psyche is the result of continuous aggregation operated by the Ego interacting with the panpsychic sea from which fields of consciousness emerge of which the Ego constitutes a relative center. If aggregates, complexes and elementary psychodynamic processes can give life to a personality, if the interaction of multiple personalities can give rise to a supra-individual psychic complex, then it is logical to think that there must exist increasingly simple panpsychic realities, until arriving to affirm with Leibniz, Spencer, Clifford and Palamidessi that there must exist an elementary psychic atom from whose aggregation, dynamization, evolution or transmutation derive all forms of consciousness. In line with Palamidessi's definition, we indicate such a psychic atom with the term "psychon".
Mind is the one fundamental reality; not mind as we know it in the complex forms of conscious feeling and thought, but in the simpler elements on which feeling and thought are built. The hypothetical fundamental element of mind, or psychic atom, corresponds precisely to the hypothetical atom of matter, which is the fundamental fact of which the material atom is the phenomenon.
— William K. Clifford
In analogy with the structure of matter originated from the aggregation of physical atoms, we believe that the psyche also possesses states of aggregation. If, at the usual and common stage, we believe the state of aggregation of psychons is a fluid and, therefore, easily impressionable or moldable; however we believe that the panpsychic fluid can also coagulate, crystallize, sublimate and ignite depending on the repeated action of the Ego and other psychodynamic forces acting on it. This is the field of study of what is known as "spiritual alchemy".
Electronic and Psychonic Matter
"The Earth, planets and intersidereal spaces are formed of matter of highly variable density, that is, of electronic matter and psychonic matter, matter composed of atoms that can be called electrons for the first type and psychons for the second. Man is continuously immersed in this infinite ocean of electronic and psychonic matter, in perennial vibration or oscillation; being constituted of the same essence, he naturally undergoes the influence of the medium in which he lives, from birth to death and from the latter to extraterrestrial life. Thus, when he..."
