Vital Energy and Pranoterapy: Understanding Etheric Body and Energy Centers

It is even possible to become donors of this vital energy through pranoterapy. In case of an excess of this vital energy, it is indeed possible to proceed by donating it to sick people through effluviums or hypnomagnetic or pranotherapeutic passes (the guidelines on how to proceed are described in this notebook -48-). Most alternative medicines focus on the transfer of vital energy from therapist to patient to give them strength and help them heal. It is true that there are people who, by constitution, find themselves healthier than others and therefore can be spontaneous therapists, finding themselves donating more or less consciously this vital energy to weaker and needy organisms. In this case, individuals often find themselves exhausted and drained if they have had to speak with someone in a non-optimal psychophysical state to whom they have therefore had to cede more or less consciously vital energy. A typical example is visiting a person sick with a chronic illness, or a very elderly person lacking vitality, or even types of people who are extremely anemic, weak and who have this imbalance whereby they constitutionally result as absorbers of vitality, or even in case of mediumistic sessions. In these cases it is important both to be able to recharge or accumulate vital energy following the techniques we will now see, and to protect oneself from individuals, work colleagues or others who have this propensity to absorb vital energy to the point of sometimes becoming true energy vampires. To recharge with vital energy, some disciplines use particular positions, visualizations of symbols, breathing techniques, but in the end all disciplines lead back to what are the main resources of man for drawing on this vital energy: will (prana moves according to human will, so learning to awaken and educate one's will is the first fundamental point in all disciplines of this kind), visualization (the ability to visualize vital energy and its transfer from one organ to another and which can help the capacity for projection and deliberation), and breathing (which regulates the energovital processes of the organism). The etheric body and energy centers: Breathing is certainly one of the most important elements in this field of vital energy. In fact, it is true that the etheric body at first clairvoyant vision appears as this striated aura that surrounds the individual. A more advanced clairvoyance, however, reveals a structure, a true organism made of arteries and veins, not physical obviously but vital. This image, with all its functioning, which is useful to know especially if one is interested in these disciplines, will be treated by Roberto Navicelli in the conference in two Tuesdays on "the vital world, prana and bioenergy." As far as we are concerned, we are interested in noting just a couple of things: as you see from the drawing, there are psychic arteries where vital energy flows. The flow of vital energy along these arteries is mainly related to breathing, and for this reason a modification of breathing can lead to an alteration of vital circulation. The second point to note, which we will not treat in depth now, is that of these force centers or etheric energy vortices. As we will see in every energy body that we will deepen, these fundamental centers are found which are first of all consciousness centers but which manifest as particular organs on every body, becoming mental, emotional, vital centers (as in this case) until they also manifest in the physical body and to which very important physical organs correspond: the endocrine glands. We will speak more extensively about the doctrine of these centers or Chakras in the next meeting and then in a special conference that we will hold in November dedicated to this topic. For the moment it is important to emphasize that these centers or chakras exist and that much of the Eastern or pranotherapeutic doctrines when they refer to these chakras often refer to these vital centers and not to the respective abstract mental centers that we will see in the next conference. The action therefore on these chakras is aimed at acquiring health and does not have an action towards a true spiritual awakening of the individual (for which pranoterapy is not enough). The first element is the fact of assimilation of this vital energy which essentially comes from the sun and which is diffused on earth and around us in the form of vitality globules. These globules are colored globules containing precisely this vital energy which is assimilated through breathing and through the skin. The vital force arrives from the Sun and is absorbed by the spleen, making it assume different colors and distributing it to the various organs and parts of the body. The millions of particles of vital energy, after being absorbed by the spleen, assume a beautiful pale pink color and run along the nerves vitalizing them in every path. After the vital energy has been absorbed, the vitality globules become pale and empty and are expelled either from the pores of the skin or from the nails. In this process therefore the spleen and the center of the spleen are of great importance as well as the environment in which we find ourselves which can be more or less rich in vital energy. Breathing, vital energy of the earth, vitality globules: As we said previously, there are places richer in prana or vital energy and other places instead poorer in prana. Forests for example are rich in prana, particularly northern forests like those of Russia or the tundra, both because trees emit these vitality globules and also because they are close to the north pole and it is a highly ionized environment. To give you an idea of the ionization of places, just look at atmospheric phenomena like the northern lights that appear near the north pole and which closely resemble the luminous phenomena obtainable with the Kirlian machine. These lights that are seen are given by...
